Ways of supporting or getting involved in Missions:
· Through your untiring prayers for Missionaries, unsaved people and regions that they may come to the saving grace of God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
· Adopt a mission project that you can support financially or by adopting a particular Missionary and his/her family, providing encouragement and support for them in every way the HOLY SPIRIT will minister to you… Remember through the act of supporting servant of GOD, the Shunammite woman in 2 King 4: 8-17 received special blessing from GOD, please read:
“ …15 Then Elisha said, “Call her” So he called her, and she stood in the doorway. 16 “About this time next year,” Elisha said, “you will hold a son in your arms.”
“No, my lord,” she objected “Don’t mislead your servant, O man of God!”
17 But the woman became pregnant, and the next year about that same time she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her.”
· By releasing yourself for the practical work of Missions either becoming a missionary or working for mission agencies as a volunteer in accordance to the leading of GOD through HIS HOLY SPIRIT… See Prophet Isaiah in Isa. 6:8 “8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Remember, the harvest is plenty but the good labourers are few… Read Matthew 9:37-38 “37Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Finally, the bible says those who win souls are like stars forever… Daniel 12:3 “3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. As a result, get engage in MISSIONS, the heartbeat of GOD!
